Mammootty’s The Great Father release postponed

The Great Father directed by debutant Haneef Adeni is a much expected movie of Megastar Mammootty. The movie was initially scheduled for a Christmas release, but now the release has been postponed to January next year.

Sources inform that the post production and dubbing works will take more time. Apparently the makers are not compromising on quality for a release during the festival season.

Mammootty is playing the character David in the movie. Kollywood actor Arya is also playing a pivotal role in the movie. Another Kollywood Shaam is reportedly playing a guest role as a police officer. Sneha, Mia George, Kammatipadam fame Manikandan Achari, Baby Anikha are also part of the cast.

First look posters of the movie piqued the curiosity among the audience and raised the expectation levels. Roby Varghese Raj is handling the cinematography while Gopi Sunder will be composing the music for this revenge drama.

Prithviraj Sukumaran is co-producing this movie along with Santosh Sivan, Shaji Natesan and Arya under their banner August Cinemas.
