Mammootty is always there to help people who needs it, says Oommen Chandy

Last day Mega Star Mammootty has been honored with Navathi award at Shanthigiri Asram, Trivandrum, during the 90th birthday celebration of Karunakara Guru. Mammootty will celebrate his 65th birthday tomorrow, on 7th September and every one had wished an advance birthday wish to him there.

Ex-Chief Minister Oomen Chandy said that Mammootty is an artist who always there to help the ones who needs it. He always had time for giving his care to people who needs that in our society and that is makes him a great humaan being apart from being a great actor, said Oomen Chandy. Ooman Chandy said this while inaugurating the event there. The award was handed over to Mammootty by Sri Lankan Parliament Speaker Karu Jayasurya.

Mammootty had inaugurated the website of Santhigiri Asram as well during that function. Mammootty fans association members also present there and they said that fans units from Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain etc had decided to adopt a tribal colony at Attappady and they said that it is their birthday present to their star.

As a start of the adoption process, they had handed over 2 lakhs rupees money to the concerned people. Minister Kadannappali Ramachandran was the one who presided over the event in which many dignitaries from different walks of our society took part.
