Mammootty-Nadirshah film I’m a Disco Dancer is a comedy thriller

It has been a while since reports about Mammootty teaming up Nadirshah with started emerging. Initially, they had plans to make a comedy film in which Mammootty was supposed to play a dwarf. Benny P Nayarambalam was the scriptwriter, but the project got dropped in the early stages itself. Mammootty and Nadirshah are now set to reunite for another comedy thriller titled, ‘I’m a Disco Dancer’.

Nadirshah himself confirmed this in a recent interview. He is currently awaiting the release of ‘Mera Naam Shaji’, which is scheduled for release on April 5. The movie starring Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Baiju in the leads is expected to be a typical Nadirshay style entertainer. He has also committed for a film with his close friend and business partner Dileep. The movie titled ‘Keshu Ee Veedinte Naathan’ is scripted by Sajeev Pazhoor of ‘Thondimuthalum Driksashiyum’ fame.

Mammootty meanwhile has resumed shooting for ‘Maamaankam’. His next release will be ‘Madura Raja’, slated for Vishu. ‘Unda’ shoot was recently wrapped up and it’s currently in the post-production phase. ‘Ameer’ and ‘Ganagandharvan’ are his other upcoming films.
