Mammootty to play the lead in the next movie of Omar who directed Happy Wedding ?
If the reports coming in are to be believed, then Mega Star Mammootty may play the lead in next movie directed by Omar, who had directed the super hit movie of this year, named Happy Wedding. As per reports, Omar is all set to start his next venture and Mammootty had agreed to hear the story of this movie. The team behind the project is highly confident that the mega star will be impressed with the screenplay and will give his node to start the project.
As per reports Mammootty will play a goonda in this movie which will be a Kochi based comedy flick. The project is only in its planning stage now and the official confirmation will come only after their meeting with Mammootty.

Sunny Wayne, Shine Tom Chacko also may play prominent characters in this movie as per reports. Mammootty had earlier played some popular character in films based on Kochi life. In the movie named Best Actor, he played a goonda based on Kochi for some time in the plot, even though he was really a teacher who want to be an actor in that movie.
Omar had made his debut through Happy Wedding this year which was indeed become a surprise hit of this year. Siju Wilson, Sharafudeen, Soubin Shahir etc played the lead in this movie.
