Mammootty starrer Shylock censored with U/A certificate

Mammootty’s ‘Shylock’ has been censored with a U/A certificate. Now that the final hurdle is done with, the film is confirmed to hit screens on January 23. Fans have pinned huge expectations on the film courtesy the impressive teaser cuts. Ajai Vasudev of ‘Rajadhiraja’ and ‘Masterpiece’ fame is directing the film which is touted to be an action-packed mass entertainer.

Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Hameed have jointly scripted ‘Shylock’. Along with Mammootty, the film will have veteran Tamil actor Raj Kiran in a prominent role. There is a big supporting cast which comprises of actors like Meena, Bibin George, Baiju, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Anson Paul, Arthana Binu, John Vijay, Arjun Nandakumar and Hareesh Kanaran.

‘Shylock’ also has a dubbed Tamil version which is titled as ‘Kuselan’. Raj Kiran has penned the Tamil dialogues. DOP Renadive, composer Gopi Sunder and editor Riyas K Badhar form the core technical crew. Joby George of Goodwill Entertainment is producing the film.
