Mammootty is a strict and short tempered professor in an upcoming mass thriller

We had earlier told you that Mammootty has signed for a new movie with Rajadhiraja fame Ajai Vasudev. The movie will be written by Udhayakrishna, who is fresh from the historic success of Pulimurugan.

This yet to be titled movie will be a mass thriller set in the backdrop of a government arts college. Mammootty will be seen as a strict and short tempered professor in the movie. The actor previously played a college professor in Kamal’s Mazhayethum Munpe, released back in 1995.

According to director Ajai Vasudev, Mammootty’s role in the movie is a larger than life character that we are used to see in mass entertainers. Ajai Vasudev- Mammootty- Udhayakrishna team’s previous movie, Rajadhiraja was also a full on full mass entertainer.

Unni Mukundan is also playing a pivotal character in the movie. He will be sharing screen space with Mammootty for the third time after Bombay March 12 and Fireman. Unni Mukundan will also be working as an assistant to screenwriter Sethu in his debut directorial which stars Mammootty in the lead role.

Veteran actor Mukesh will be seen in the role of a vice principal in this mass thriller. Salim Kumar and Maqbool Salmaan are also part of the cast.

Shaji Kumar who handled the camera in Pulimurugan is the DOP. Anal Arasu will be choreographing the high voltage stunt sequences in the movie. CH Mohammed is producing this movie which will go on floors by April first week.
