Mammootty’s The Great Father posters increasing the hype
Mega Star Mammootty’s upcoming movie is The Great Father. Expectations have been very high ever since the announcement of the project. With the release of each poster, hype surrounding the movie is increasing further.
Three official posters have been released as of now. A very interesting aspect about the posters are that all three posters do not show Mammootty’s face. In the first poster only his shadow is seen while the next two posters have him walking from behind.
These posters has increased the curiosity of the audience about why the face is not shown. In the latest poster, Mammootty is seen walking with a gun in rain. People have already started comparing this scene to the iconic Bilal’s introduction scene in Big B.
The Great Father is Mammootty’s fifth release this year after Puthiya Niyamam, Kasaba, White and Thoppil Joppan. The actor has had a mixed year with no big blockbuster to his name this year. So this latest movie scheduled to be released on Christmas is highly expected. The Great Father is a revenge drama.
The Great Father is directed by debutant Haneef Adeni. Mammootty is playing the character named David in the movie.
Kollywood actor Arya is also playing a pivotal role in this movie. Other star cast include actors like Sneha, Miya and Kammatipadam fame Manikandan Achari.
Earlier we had reported that actor Indrajith’s daughters Nakshathra and Prarthana have sung a song in the movie. Gopi Sunder is composing the music for The Great Father.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is co-producing this movie along with Santosh Sivan, Shaji Natesan and Arya under their banner August Cinemas.
