Mammootty unveils the first look of B Tech fame Mridul Nair’s new web series ‘Instagramam’

Web series is the latest trend in the Indian entertainment industry. Filmmakers across the world have been exploring the possibilities of this medium for a long while now. While several interesting series’ are being made in Hindi and Tamil, Malayalam industry has still not entered the arena. In what is the first of many to come, director Mridual Nair of ‘B Tech’ fame is helming a new series titled ‘Instagraamam’. Mammootty unveiled the first look poster and it was shared online by Asif Ali.

Along with sharing the poster, Asif Ali has also written,

Presenting the first look of a quirky and unique web series from the director of BTech and my dear brother, Mridul Nair, with prominent actors from the Malayalam film industry playing key roles. “Instagramam”, coming soon.

It will be interesting to see who all will be part of this new series. If this series becomes a success, it is certain to inspire many others from the Malayalam film industry to follow suit and explore the web series arena. The arrival of streaming giants like Amazon Prime and Netflix have definitely been a booster.
