There is a big news doing its round in Mollywwod about the joining together of Dulquar Salmaan and Mammootty for the first time through a Ranjith Film. Everybody is behind that news whether it is real or not as the anticipation level was too high. But at the same time there is almost a confirmed news is coming that Maqbool Salmaan who is the son of Mammootty’s brother Ibrahim Kutty will play a key role in one of the upcoming Mammootty film. As per reports Maqbool Salmaan will play the younger brother character of Mammootty in the upcoming film directed by the debutant film maker Nithin Renji Panicker who is the son of famous writer/director and actor Renji Panicker who had directed and written for Mammootty in the past.

Maqbool Salman’s father Ibrahim Kutty is a famous actor in Mini Screen and he had acted in lot of mainstream Malayalam films as well. Maqbool Salmaan had made his Mollywood debut with the film named Matinee directed by Aneesh Upasana. But even before that he had made a small appearance in A K Sajan directorial film Asuravith starred by Asif ali as well. Later he had acted in 4-5 Malayalam films but any of them not made much impact at box office even though he become noticed due to his acting skills which looked really a matured one.

It is the first time that Maqbool Salmaan is acting along with his father like figure Mammootty and it will be very interesting see he is playing younger brother to Mammootty who is actually the elder brother of his father. The film in which they are coming together is a cop story and will be made by Nithin Renji panicker as we said above. Reports came earlier that Mammootty will play a cop with some eccentric mannerisms in this flick and it will be written by the director Nithin itself.

The team behind the film is planning to start the film early next year and they are now finalizing the other cast and crew of the film. Nithin’s father Reni Panicker may also play a key role in this film.
