Mammootty wishes newly-weds Manikandan Achari and Anjali through video call

Malayalam film actor Manikandan R Achari got married to Anjali, a Maradu native, in a temple in Thrippunithura on Sunday. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the wedding was a very private affair with only very few family members attending the ceremony. The wedding was conducted following all the lockdown protocols.

While speaking to the medias after the ceremony, Manikandan Achari got a surprise call from none other than Mammootty. The megastar wished the couple through video call and showered all his blessings for a prosperous married life. Both Manikandan and his better half Anjali were visibly excited with Mammootty’s gesture and seeked his blessings.

Several other colleagues like Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Aju Varghese, Hareesh Kanaran also wished Manikandan through their respective social media handles.
The ‘Kammattipaadam’ actor, who started his life from humble backgrounds, has won hearts by donating a hefty sum saved for his wedding to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
