Mammootty’s CBI 5 titled The Brain; Motion poster out

The fifth installment in the CBI franchise has been titled as ‘CBI 5: The Brain’. The film marks the reunion of Mammootty with script writer SN Swamy and director K Madhu. Swargachitra Appachan is producing the film. The makers announced the title with a motion poster, which is accompanied by the iconic score. It introduces Mammootty’s Sethurama Iyer as ‘the most non-violent investigator in the world’.

Along with Mammootty, the fifth installment has Mukesh and Sai Kumar reprising their characters, Chacko and Sathyadas, respectively. Anoop Menon, Dileesh Pothan, Renji Panicker, Soubin Shahir, Asha Sarath, Ramesh Pisharody, Sudev Nair, Anna Reshma Rajan, Malavika Menon, Malavika Nair, Swasika, Ansiba Hassan, Prashanth Alexander, Jayakrishnan, Idavela Babu, Kottayam Ramesh, Azeez Nedumangad and Santhosh Keezhattoor are also part of the cast.

On the technical front, Jakez Bejoy has been assigned as the music director and Akhil George is the DOP.
