Mammootty’s first look from Akhil Akkineni’s Agent out

We had earlier reported about Mammootty playing a major role in the upcoming Telugu film ‘Agent’ that has Akhil Akkineni as the lead. Last day, the makers released a special poster featuring Mammootty. It has the veteran star in an army background with cap in his head and holding a gun. The poster introduces him as ‘The Devil: Ruthless Saviour’.

‘Agent’ is said to be an espionage thriller made on a big scale. Surender Reddy of ‘Race Gurram’ fame is directing the film and it is scripted by Vakkantham Vamsi. While Akhil is playing the lead role of a spy agent in, Mammootty reportedly essays a military officer’s role.

Mammootty’s last Telugu release was ‘Yatra’, a biographical film in which he played the role of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy. In Malayalam, he has ‘Puzhu’ and ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ coming up. His most recent release ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ has opened to stellar response at the box office. It is claimed that the film has registered the biggest numbers ever in Kerala box office for the opening weekend.
