Mammootty’s Ganagandharvan to start rolling from June first week

As reported by us earlier, Ramesh Pisharody’s next directorial venture is with megastar Mammootty. The movie titled as ‘Ganagandharvan’ tells the story of a ‘ganamela’ singer named Kaladasan Ullas. Pisharody and Hari Nair have jointly scripted then movie, which is touted to be a full-on fun entertainer. As per latest reports, the makers have planned to start shooting from June 1. Mammootty will be joining the team shortly after wrapping up his ongoing commitments.

‘Ganagandharvan’ has an elaborate supporting cast which includes four heroines. Three them are said to be newcomers, but their names are yet to be revealed. Manoj K Jayan, Suresh Krishna, Hareesh Kanaran, Maniyanpilla Raju and Dharmajan Bolgatty are also part of the supporting cast.

Mammootty meanwhile is busy shooting for the period flick ‘Maamaankam’, directed by M Padmakumar. After the completion of ‘Ganagandharvan’, the actor will be teaming up with Ajai Vasudev for a mass entertainer. ‘Ameer’ with Vinod Vijayan, ‘Bilal’ with Amal Neerad,and ‘One’ scripted by Bobby-Sanjay are his other upcoming projects.
