Mollywood Megastar Mammootty is set to dazzle the audience with his upcoming film “Kannur Squad,” slated for release on the 28th of September. The film’s trailer has already received a tremendous response from fans and cinephiles, offering a glimpse into a gripping and realistic investigative thriller.

Notably, a similar film titled “Kuttavum Shikshayum” graced Mollywood screens last year, directed by Rajeev Ravi and featuring Asif Ali and Sunny Wayne in leading roles. However, it didn’t resonate well with the audience. Sunny Wayne, who plays a pivotal character in “Kannur Squad,” has taken the opportunity to differentiate the two films.

In a recent media interaction, Sunny Wayne emphasized that “Kannur Squad” stands apart from “Kuttavum Shikshayum.” He described it as a highly thrilling and engaging investigative thriller that promises moments of excitement for both fans and film enthusiasts, keeping them on the edge of their seats.

The directorial debut of Roby Varghese Raj, “Kannur Squad” is produced by Mammootty Kampany and features an ensemble cast, including Azees Nedumangad, Rony David Raj, and Shabareesh Varma, in prominent roles.

The gripping narrative of this thriller is penned by actor Rony David Raj in collaboration with Muhammad Shafi.
