Mammootty’s next titled as Ameer; Here’s the title poster

The title Mammootty’s new film with director Vinod Vijayan has been announced. The movie titled as ‘Ameer’ is scripted by Haneef Adeni. This is his third time collaboration with Mammootty after the success of ‘The Great Father’ (TGF) and ‘Abrahaminte Santhathikal’. While Haneef directed ‘TGF’, he was the script writer of ‘Abrahaminte Santhathikal’.

‘Ameer’ is reportedly a big scale project planned to be made on a budget of Rs 25 crores. The movie will be shot completely in Dubai. Mammootty plays the role of an underworld don in this movie. The tagline ‘confessions of a don’ confirms the same.

Gopi Sunder is handling the music department and our sources within the industry inform that the score in this movie will be among his best works till date. The movie will be produced by Sreelekshmi R and Shankar Raj R. Bhupen Tacho and Jeethu Goghi are the co-producers.
Details about the other cast and crew members are expected to be officially announced shortly.

Haneef Adeni’s previous two outings with Mammootty were hugely successful. So expectations will be massive for ‘Ameer’. This is Vinod Vijayan’s first film with Mammootty. He has previously helmed films like ‘Red Salute’ and ‘D Company’.
