Mammootty’s Oru Kuttanadan Blog to start rolling from March!

We had already reported about noted scriptwriter Sethu turning an independent filmmaker with a Mammootty starrer. The movie titled as Oru Kuttandan Blog is presumably a village based fun entertainer. The movie has three female leads in Raai Lakshmi, Anu Sithara and Shruthi Ramachandran.

As per latest reports, Oru Kuttandan Blog will go on floors on March 5. Mammootty will meanwhile finish shooting his portions for Abrahaminte Santhathikal: A Cop Story, directed by Shaji Padoor. Sethu’s directorial debut will be shot in and around Alapuzha with Kuttanad as the major location.

Oru Kuttanadan Blog will feature Mammootty in a totally relatable role of an ordinary villager. The movie’s supporting cast has a mix of both veterans as well as youngsters. Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jude Anthany Joseph, Sanju Sivaram and Adil Ibrahim will be seen in supporting roles.

A very interesting aspect of the movie is that actor Unni Mukundan will be involved as an associate director. He will be assisting Sethu with whom he is very close to ever since the Mallu Singh days. Pradeep Nair will be handling the cinematography and newcomer Sreenath is in charge of the music department. The movie will be produced by Muraleedharan and Santha Muraleedharan under the banner of Anantha Vision.
