Mammootty’s response to The Great Father video leak

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, The Great Father is set to hit screens all over Kerala on March 30. Shockingly, a video clip from the movie has been surfacing virally in all social media platforms.

The clip features an emotional scene with Mammootty and Sneha. Though it doesn’t reveal much about the storyline, it is really condemnable to leak scenes from an yet to be released movie.

Mammootty responded to the incident by saying that such harmful tendencies should not be allowed at any cost. With a tinge of humour he asked the media about which scene from the movie was leaked. Meanwhile, one of the producers of the movie Shaji Natesan has approached the cyber cell to track the source of release.

The Great Father, written and directed by debutant Haneef Adeni, features Mammootty in the role of David Ninan. The promos and teasers sky rocketed the expectations of the fans to a whole new level. Special shows for fans have been arranged all over Kerala on March 30.

The movie is expected to have a record breaking opening. Kollywood actor Arya, Shaam, Mia George, Baby Anikha, Malavika Mohanan and IM Vijayan will be seen in pivotal characters. August Cinemas jointly owned by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Santhosh Sivan, Arya and Shaji Natesan have bank rolled this movie.
