Mamta Mohandas to play the role of E Sreedharan’s wife in Rama Sethu

As announced earlier, Jayasurya is starring in ‘Rama Sethu’, a film based on the life of Metro Man, E Sreedharan. VK Prakash will be directing the movie and it is scripted by S Suresh Babu. Pre-production works for this ambitious film is currently progressing. Arun Narayan is producing the film and veteran Ravi K Chandran will be handling the camera. Shoot is planned to begin by October.

Meanwhile, casting process is getting finalized. The makers have got Mamta Mohandas to play the role of E Sreedharan’s wife. Mamta got roped in as her physical features and personality were similar to Radha Sreedharan. Along with Mamta, another prominent female actress will be part of the cast.

‘Rama Sethu’ will be narrated from the perspective of two characters – Uthaman, a railway canteen employee, and his daughter Lathika, a textile worker. The story will be about how Sreedharan inspired Uthaman and his family. The makers are presently in talks with some leading heroines for playing the part of Lathika.
