Leaking of the censor copy or the other pirated versions of films had become a very common issue in India and all film industries in our country is suffering badly with this issue. The recent issues which made much controversy are the censor copy leak of Mollywood blockbuster Premam and Salman Khan’s Bollywood blockbuster hit film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Premam censor copy issue has made a big havoc in Malayalam film industry and at last the culprits were arrested who were from the censor board office itself. Even though the censor copy of the films like Premam and Bajrangi Bhaijaan had leaked even before the release of the film it was available online only after some days of the release of those films.

But now a strange and shocking incident happened that Ketan Mehta’s film Manjhi-The Mountain Man had leaked in the online sources even before the release of the film. It is almost 10 days before the release that the film had leaked to different online sources. The flick’s trailer had got great response and had evoked great anticipation in the minds of the spectators. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte respectively playing the male and female leads in the film and there has been reports that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given his career best performance in the film.

The lead actress of the film Radhika Apte said that it is a very sad thing to happen and she appealed to the audience that never watch this film using a pirated print and it is such a big and marvelous film which have to be watched on the big screen to gets its full enjoyment. She also said that all the measures had taken to stop the spreading of the film’s print through online and also the methods are taken to remove it from different sources as well.

The film was inspired from the real life story of mountain man Dashrath Manjhi and his character is played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The pirated prints had arrived on all common pirate sites that too with good quality without any problem in playback and it had really shocked the team behind the film.
