Manju Warrier dubs for The Priest

Post-production works of Mammootty’s ‘The Priest’ are progressing at a brisk pace. Dubbing works are currently underway. Actress Manju Warrier has shared photos of her dubbing for the film in her social media handle. It is a special film because it is the first time Mammootty and Manju Warrier are acting together despite being in the industry for so long.

‘The Priest’ directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko is said to be a mystery thriller. The makers have only released some posters featuring Mammootty and all of them looked promising retaining the mystery element. The film has an elaborate cast which includes Nikhila Vimal, Jagadheesh, Ramesh Pisharody, Ameya Mathew, Baby Monica of ‘Kaithi’ fame, ‘Nayika Nayakan’ fame Venkitesh and Tony Luke.

On the technical front, Akhil George has handled the camera and Shameer Muhammed is editing the film. Music director Rahul Raj is currently working on the background score. It is jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu.

‘The Priest’ will be Mammootty’s first theatrical release post-pandemic. An exact date has not yet been announced.
