Manju Warrier and Nikhila Vimal in Mammootty’s next

We had recently reported about Mammootty and Manju Warrier coming together for a thriller film. Though the two stars have been active for nearly two decades, this is the first time they will be acting together. Debutant Jofin T Chacko will be directing the film and it will be produced by Anto Joseph and senior filmmaker B Unnikrishnan.

Promising young actress Nikhila Vimal is the latest addition to the cast. Similar to Manju, this is also Nikhila’s first outing with Mammootty. The project got initiated after some sudden developments. Though Mammootty had other prior commitments, he accommodated immediate dates for this project as he was highly impressed by Jofin’s script. Official announcement with full details regarding the cast and crew is expected to be made soon. Shoot is scheduled to begin in full swing from the first week of January.

Mammootty’s next release will be ‘Shylock’, a mass entertainer directed by Ajai Vasudev. The film is slated to hit screens on January 23.
