Manju Warrier to play Mohanlal’s wife in B Unnikrishnan’s next

We had earlier reported that Manju Warrier will play the female lead in Mohanlal’s upcoming movie with B Unnikrishnan. The director has now confirmed that Manju Warrier will be seen as Mohanlal’s wife in the movie. Though the two have acted together in 4 movies before, this is the first time they will be seen as a married couple. They last acted together in 2015 for Sathyan Anthikad’s Ennum Eppozhum.

According to director B Unnikrishnan, Manju Warrier’s character in the movie will be a very important one. She will be seen as a bold and independent woman who has a strong identity.

Mohanlal is playing an ex-cop in this crime thriller. The actor is currently in an Ayurvedic treatment in Poomully for trimming down to play his part in the movie. He is expected to join the sets on March 5.

The director has roped in an ensemble star cast for the movie. Kollywood hero Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Telugu actor Srikanth and Raashi Khanna will be seen in pivotal characters in the movie. Siddique, Chemban Vinod Jose and Aju Varghese are also part of the cast.

Peter Hein who choreographed the stunning action scenes in Pulimurugan is also working in this movie along with Stunt Silva. An international company based in Poland have been roped in to handle the VFX works. Manoj Paramahamsa known for his works in movies like Nanban and Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, will be cranking the camera. Music will be composed by Oppam fame 4 Musics.

Rockline Venkatesh who has produced movies like Lingaa and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, is funding this movie. It is planned to be made on an estimated budget of 25-30 crores. The team are planning to complete the shoot in two months time. Vagamon, Munnar and Ernakulam are the major locations.
