Manyam Puli: Telugu dubbed version of Pulimurugan completes 50 days

Mohanlal’s all time blockbuster movie Pulimurugan is still running in some theatres in Kerala even after completing it’s 100 days theatrical run. The movie directed by Vysakh was the first Malayalam movie to enter the 100 crore club and later went to on to touch the 150 crore mark. It is also the first ever movie to complete 40,000 shows in Kerala.

Telugu dubbed of Pulimurugan, titled as Manyam Puli was released on December 2nd. The movie opened to spectacular response from the Telugu audience minting big bucks from the box office. Telugu medias reported that Manyam Puli registered around 5 crores on the opening day itself.

The movie had stiff competition from Ram Charan starrer Dhruva, but it still continued to hold with steady collections at the Tollywood box office.

The movie has now successfully completed it’s 50 days theatrical run. According to trade sources, Manyam Puli has raked in an impressive 12 crores from the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana.

Manyam Puli is the second continuous Telugu blockbuster for Mohanlal. Janatha Garage in which he teamed up with Jr NTR. Janatha Garage was last year’s highest grossing Telugu movie grossing over 100 crores from the box office.

Pulimurugan is an action packed entertainer featuring Mohanlal in the title role as a wild hunter. The movie is written by Udhayakrishna and produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner Mulakupadam Films.
