Marakkar is ‘Hollywood level’ in all departments, says co-producer CJ Roy

After the multiple talks with theatre owners failed to reach an amicable solution, the makers of ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ have decided to skip theatrical release and opt for a direct premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT giant is expected to announce the release date soon.

Meanwhile, a special preview show was arranged in Chennai for selected invitees. CJ Roy, the founder of Confident Group and one of the film’s co-producers, were among the attendees. After watching the film on big screen, Roy took to his Facebook handle to claim that ‘Marakkar’ is ‘Hollywood level’ in all departments and will remain a benchmark film for a very long time.
