Marakkar set to be out on Amazon Prime Video; Release date announced

‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, which hit screens on December 2, is getting ready for its OTT release. The film is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from December 17 in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Though ‘Marakkar’ was released in theatres amidst tremendous hype, the film failed to live up to the expectations. It got released in around 4100 screens across the world in 5 languages. However, upon release, the film faced severe backlash in social medias. Moreover, pirated copies of the film were also spread online. All this had a major impact on the film’s box office collection.

‘Marakkar’ directed by Priyadarshan had superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. The cast also includes several well-known actors like Suniel Shetty, Arjun, Pranav Mohanlal, Keerthy Suresh, Manju Warrier, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Siddique, Prabhu, Baburaj, Mukesh, and Ashok Selvan.

With such a big star cast that too from various languages, ‘Marakkar’ is expected to fare well once its out on Amazon Prime Video this coming Friday.
