Master meets student; Kalidas Jayaram thanks Vijay for taking the time and effort to meet him!

Kalidas Jayaram is probably in the best phase of his acting career, especially after the rave reviews he got for his performance in the recently released film, ‘Thangam’, a segment in the Netflix anthology ‘Paava Kadhaigal’. The good things doesn’t seem to end there for the young actor as he got to meet and interact with superstar Vijay recently. He has shared a photo taken with Vijay in his social media handle.

Kalidas also thanked Vijay for taking taking the time and effort. He has captioned the photo as,

Kalidas Jayaram had a great 2020 with three back-to-back OTT releases. He starred in Sudha Kongara’s film ‘Ilamai Idho Idho’ in the Amazon Prime anthology, ‘Putham Pudhu Kaalai’. His long delayed Tamil film ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’ finally got released in Zee5 and his performance in it was praiseworthy. It was his brilliant performance as a transwoman in ‘Paava Kadhaigal’ that got unanimous appreciation. Many leading critics have rated it as one of the top performances of the year.

Kalidas also has a couple of Malayalam films coming up. ‘Jack and Jill’ directed by Santhosh Sivan and Jayaraj’s ‘Backpackers’ are expected to release very soon.
