Mayaanadhi is a wonderfully woven love story: Mohanlal

Aashiq Abu’s romantic flick Mayaanadhi has successfully defied all the odds and is celebrating its 75th day in theatres. On this happy occasion the team of Mayaanadhi has one more reason to celebrate as none other than superstar Mohanlal has written high about the movie on his social media handle.

In his Facebook post, he praised the movie calling it as a wonderfully woven love story with realistic characters and situations. Mohanlal also appreciated the entire cast and crew for the movie’s success. It is simply magnanimous of a superstar like him to praise good works by youngsters.

Mohanlal’s Facebook post reads,

I happened to see the movie #Mayanadhi a few days ago. Mayanadhi, in my opinion, is a wonderfully woven love story with realistic characters and situations. I loved the aesthetic treatment given to the movie as well. On this occasion of the 75th-day celebration of Mayanadhi, I would like to convey my appreciation to the entire cast and crew for their great effort in making a good film.

Mayaanadhi stars Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles. The movie scripted jointly by Syam Pushkaran and Dileesh Nair has two dimensions – an intense love story and crime drama. Upon its release on December 22, the movie won unanimously positive reviews from the critics. Though the movie faced initial backlash by the commoners due to some external reasons, the positive word of mouth in social medias helped a great deal in pulling more audience to theatres. The movie is now is all set for its UAE release on March 1.
