Megastar Mammootty accused of excluding journalist

We had earlier reported about a journalist’s question to Mammootty about his arrogance during the interaction held during the Sharjah book fest.

Now the media person has accused Mammootty for excluding him and his channel’s reporter during the actor’s visit to Dubai to meet his school teacher.

On Tuesday during the interaction held in the Sharjah book fest, Media One Middle East edition head MCA Nazir had asked Mammootty a question. He asked why Mammootty is not trying to become more social. There is a general conception that he is not very friendly and social like Mohanlal. Mammootty replied with a question that who should change the conception, him or the public.

On Wednesday, Mammootty went visited his school teacher Saramma in Duabi. Only selected channels and reporters were allowed to cover the meeting in which MCA Nazir and his reporter was also a part. But apparently they were avoided during the meeting.

MCA Nazir has said, “I am a very big fan of Mammootty but that does not come in way while asking questions. I have asked similar questions to even Pinarayi Vijayan and VP Singh. I have met Mohanlal twice, even though I like Mammootty more, Mohanlal’s approach and friendly nature makes him very close to us.”

“I have waited for more than 3 hours for a byte during the shoot of Pathemari, but he did not give. Why should he fear such questions. I did not say he is arrogant or anything, I was asking about the general conception about his arrogance and haughtiness. I did not intend to insult him in any manner.”
