Megastar Mammootty’s The Great Father to break records

Mammootty’s most anticipated movie in recent years The Great Father is gearing up for release on March 30. The movie is releasing amid unprecedented hype for a Mammootty starrer. Mammootty’s stylish beard look is already trending and all the new posters feature the star in his swashbuckling best.

The Great Father directed by debutant Haneef Adeni is produced by August Cinemas. Mammootty is playing the character David Nainan in the movie. Kollywood actress Sneha is playing the female lead as Michelle David. Arya, also one of the producers od the movie, is staging a comeback to Mollywood through this movie after the disappointing Double Barrel. He is playing the character Andrews Eapen.

The makers have not yet released a teaser but have been successful in raising the expectation levels of the audience through the intriguing and stylish posters. They have tightly guarded the movie from the eyes of media.

The Great Father is expected to register a record opening in the box office. Trade analysts suggest that chances are high for the movie to break all non Pulimurugan records. Currently, Pulimurugan is the highest first day grosser in Kerala followed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Jomonte Suvisheshangal. Going by the hype and anticipation levels among the audience and fans, The Great Father will create waves in the Kerala box office. A positive word of mouth will certainly ensure that the movie turns into Mammootty’s biggest commercial hit ever.
