Megastar Mammootty-Shyam Dhar movie starts rolling

Mammootty’s new movie with 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar started rolling today in Kochi. The switch on and the traditional pooja was held in Kalamassery polytechnic college today. Actor Siddique, producer Anto Joseph and many others attended the occasion.

This yet to be titled movie will be a complete family entertainer, a completely different take from the debut movie 7th Day which was a dark thriller. Nee-na fame Deepti Sati and Asha Sarath are playing the female leads in the movie.

The director had earlier informed that, Mammootty is playing an Idukki native who comes to Kochi as a teacher trainer. His character considers every student as a child and they love his lectures as he connects and explains everything with an anecdote. He is a fabulous story teller and the film will reveal the reasons for the same. Mammootty’s character has a peculiar name in the movie and the team will reveal the name along with the title.

Asha Sharath is playing a teacher while Deepti Sati will be playing a totally different role from her previous movie.

Story and screenplay for this movie will be written by debutant Ratheesh Ravi. He explained that he had taken many references to sketch Mammootty’s character in the movie. He also assured that everyone will fall in love with this character.

The movie is being produced by will B Rakesh and Mohammed Salim under the banner MSM Cinemas. M Jayachandran ia composing the songs for this movie.

The Mammootty starrer also features Innocent, Dileesh Pothen, Hareesh Kanaran and Sohan Seenulal in pivotal roles. Ernakulam and Idukki are the major locations for the movie
