Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s Blockbuster Duo Returns: Neru Release Date Revealed

The dynamic duo of Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph, is renowned for their remarkable collaborations in Malayalam Cinema, notably through the groundbreaking successes of ‘Drishyam’ and its sequel ‘Drishyam 2′, alongside the gripping thriller ’12th Man’ available on an OTT platform, is set to captivate audiences once more.

Their much-anticipated fourth collaboration, ‘Neru,’ unfolds as an emotionally charged courtroom drama, promising a riveting narrative that has garnered substantial excitement within the Malayalam film circuit. The official release date for this cinematic gem has now been confirmed.

‘Neru’ is slated for a global theatrical release on the 21st of December this year. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the esteemed banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, the script is a joint creation by Actress and Advocate Shanthi Mayadevi, in partnership with director Jeethu Joseph.

Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, the film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Priyamani, Siddique, Ganesh Kumar, Anaswara Rajan, Jagadeesh, Nandu, and more. The cinematography by Satheesh Kurupu and the precise editing by VS Vinayak have added depth to the film, complemented by the evocative music crafted by Vishnu Shyam.

Notably, the Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph collaboration also extends to the film series ‘Ram,’ comprising two parts. Nearly 90% of the filming for this two-part series is wrapped, with only a single schedule remaining.
