Mohanlal and Kareena Kapoor Khan Reportedly Teaming Up for a 2025 Film

Speculations are rife about Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan collaborating on an upcoming film. Reports suggest that the project, expected to start filming in 2025, will be jointly produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Sikhya Entertainment, the latter helmed by Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga. While an official announcement is awaited, the potential pairing of these two powerhouse performers has already created a buzz among fans.

Mohanlal, currently busy with a packed schedule, is working on the multilingual epic Vrushabha, which delves into a father-son saga spanning two timelines. Directed by Nanda Kishore and backed by Ektaa Kapoor, the film features Shanaya Kapoor and Roshan Meka. Following this, the actor is set to join the sets of Hridayapoorvam, a family drama directed by Sathyan Anthikad, and Thudarum, helmed by Tharun Moorthy.

Mohanlal’s 2025 lineup also includes major releases like Empuraan, the sequel to Lucifer, and a big-budget action drama directed by Mahesh Narayanan. If the collaboration with Kareena Kapoor materializes, it will add another feather to his illustrious career, marking a promising new chapter in Indian cinema.
