Mohanlal announces Aaraattu release date

Mohanlal has announced that his new film ‘Aaraattu’ will hit screens worldwide on February 18, 2022. The makers had planned to release the film much earlier but got postponed multiple times due to the pandemic.

‘Aaraattu’ directed by B Unnikrishnan promises to be a high-voltage mass entertainer. Udhayakrishna has scripted the film with equal dose of action, comedy, songs and all other essential commercial ingredients.

The film’s recently-released trailer met with tremendous response from the fans in social media. From the trailer, it looks like the film will be an action-packed mass flick. Mohanlal plays a character named Neyyattinkara Gopan in it.

South Indian actress Shraddha Srinath is the female lead. The supporting cast includes actors like Siddique, Sai Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Indrans, Lukman, ‘KGF’ fame Garuda Ram, Ashwin Kumar, Vijayaraghavan, Swasika, Rachana Narayanankutty and Sheela. Music maestro AR Rahman will be seen making a cameo appearance in a song sequence in the film.
