At last it has been almost fixed which will be Mohanlal’s next project after the completion of Loham in which he is working on now. There are many rumours had come that it will be Bharatha Ratna by Anil or it may be Vysakh’s Puli Murugan. But now its been almost confirmed that it will be Kanal which will be helmed by M Padmakumar and penned down by Suresh Babu. And a great news which came along with this is that Anoop Menon will play a very important role in this flick. The shoot of the film will start on this May 18 as per the latest update.

Anoop Menon now running high with the success of his latest release named She Taxi with Kavya Madhavan and Directed by his close friend Saji Surendran. Anoop Menon on screen showed a great rapport with Mohanlal whenever they came together on the silver screens. They shared the screen together in flicks like Pakal Nakshatrangal which was a critically acclaimed film written by Anoop Menon himself, Ranjith directorial film Rock n Roll and in Grandmaster directed by B.Unnikrishnan. Grandmaster was a super success at box office as well.

Anoop Menon who is noted for his easy and natural acting now going to share the screen with Mohanlal  who is considered as the most natural and arguably the greatest actor of all-time in our country and that too in a powerful screenplay as the sources says. Anoop Menon himself is a great admirer and fan of this living legend and now we have the chance to witness the legend and his admirer creating magic of action and reaction on the silver screens of Mollywood. And it will be worth a watch for the sole reason of these two natural actors coming together to grace the screen with their flawless acting skills.

Apart from Mohanlal and Anoop Menon there is Honey Rose and Sheelu Abraham also playing key roles in this flick as per news.  M Padmakumar and Suresh Babu team had earlier delivered a mega hit film with Mohanlal in the lead titled Shikkar in 2010 and it will the second time this combination is uniting for a flick. The film is financing by Abbam productions.
