One of  the most anticipated and awaited movie of the year and it is none other than Master director Ranjith and living legend Mohanlal team’s film named Loham. The film had started rolling from March 7th at Kozhikkod and now it is progressing at Cochin.  Mohanlal is playing the role of a taxi driver and his name in the film is reportedly Raju. The film is said to be dealing with the story of Gold smuggling.

The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the biggest and most successful banner in Mollywood cinema Aashirvad Cinemas. When it comes to the heroine of the film, it is Andrea Jermiah is playing the female lead in this film opposite Mohanlal and her character name is Jayanti. Much to her delight it will be for the first time in her career that she is sharing screen space with this legend of Indian Cinema. Early in her career Andrea had the fortune to work with legend like Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam and in Uthamavillain too.

The cast list of the film include some surprising faces like director V K prakash  and reports says that he is also doing a very important role in the film. The other artists who are working in this film is  Siddique, Mythili, Joju, Hareesh Peradi, Aju Varghese and Tini Tom etc. And to add to the attraction of the cast , the Young actor and kollywood fame Ajmal Ameer also doing a key role in this film. And an interesting report came in that Manju Warrier will play a guest role in this film as well.

The film will be a commercial as well as class action oriented film and Mohanlal had joined the set of the film 2 weeks back. Ranjith is doing a commercially viable film after a long gap as most of his recent films was more of a class act rather than giving importance to much entertainment. The department of Music of this Ranjith film will be handled by Sreevalsan J menon and DOP of the film will be done by the son of famous cinematographer S Kumar and his name was Kunjunni S Kumar. Mohanlal is looking very trim in this film and his look in the film has got great appreciation from social media and from his followers.
