Mohanlal begins his annual Ayurvedic treatment

Every year, Mohanlal undergoes Ayurvedic treatment to keep himself fit and healthy. Following the routine, the actor has reached the Gurukripa Heritage Ayurvedic treatments in Koottanad. He is expected to stay there for a week before he begins shoot for ‘Drishyam 2’. Mohanlal had undergone similar treatment at Gurukripa before the shoot of his film ‘Villain’ in 2017.

Meanwhile, ‘Drishyam 2’ shoot has been postponed by a week. The makers had planned to start shooting on September 14 but it had to be rescheduled as set works are yet to be completed. As the Covid-19 crisis is worsening, shoot will happen following all the safety protocols. To ensure complete safety of the team members, the whole cast and crew will be quarantined during the entire duration of shoot.

Arrangements are as such that the team members will have not any contact with outsiders. They will be majorly shooting in Kochi and Thodupuzha. No team member will also be allowed to go out. Along with Mohanlal, all the major actors from ‘Drishyam’ including Meena, Ansiba Haasan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sarath and Kalabhavan Shajon are likely to be retained in the cast.

Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film.
