Mohanlal is a black money holder : MM Mani

CPM leader MM Mani sworn in as the Power Minister on Tuesday. The senior political leader from Idukki is known for his commoner’s language and on your face kind of speeches. He has recently called Mollywood superstar Mohanlal as a black money holder.

MM Mani said that Mohanlal is a black money holder and he is supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help him in covering his black money.

Mohanlal in his latest blog has supported the Prime Minister’s demonetisation move. This has created a huge debate in social media platforms. Many people have criticized Mohanlal for making a comparison with people standing in queues in front of liquor shops with those people who are sweating it out in front of ATMs and banks to withdraw their money.

Congress MLAs VD Satheesan and VT Balaraman have also criticised Mohanlal for commenting on the demonetisation issue without understanding the ground reality and the hardships faced by the common citizens of the country.

People have also appreciated Mohanlal for not shying away and voicing his opinion on the issue. Eventhough many people did not agree with Mohanlal’s stand, they have stayed away from trolling and mocking the actor unnecessarily. After all, in a democracy everyone has the right to express their opinions.
