Mohanlal gears up for Drishyam 2; Back to Georgekutty look!

Mohanlal is getting ready to start shooting for ‘Drishyam 2’. He had returned back from Chennai last month and was in quarantine for the last couple of weeks. He recently got tested negative and the makers are now planning to go ahead with the shoot. The actor, who has been sporting a long-bearded look during the lockdown days, has finally shaved it to get back to his usual getup. Production controller Badusha shared Mohanlal’s latest photo through his social media handle.

If all goes well, ‘Drishyam 2’ shoot will begin on September 7. Just like the first part, Thodupuzha will be the major location. Since the first part was a huge hit that also went on to be remade successfully in various languages, expectations are high on the sequel as well.

As per director Jeethu Joseph, ‘Drishyam 2’ will continue exactly from where the first part ended with the story revolving around the lives of Georgekutty and family. Along with Mohanlal, all the major actors including Meena, Ansiba Haasan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sarath and Kalabhavan Shajon are most likely to be retained in the cast.

Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film. A formal announcement with full details regarding the cast and crew is expected to be made very soon.
