Mohanlal introduces Georgekutty and family after 6 years!

Shoot for the much hyped ‘Drishyam 2’ continues to progress amidst the pandemic situation. The film directed by Jeethu Joseph is the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Drishyam’, which was a thriller revolving around the protagonist Georgekutty and his family. The sequel continues from where the first part ended with the focus yet again on the family.

Along with Mohanlal, actors Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil are also reprising their roles from ‘Drishyam’. A new photo of Georgekutty and family from the sets of ‘Drishyam 2’ has just been shared online by Mohanlal.

Siddique and Asha Sharath, are also reprising their roles. Murali Gopy, Ganesh Kumar, Sai Kumar, Adam Ayub and Anjali Nair are the some of the new additions to the cast. Cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, music director Anil Johnson, editor Vinayakan, art director Rajeev Kovilakam and costume designer Linda Jeethu form the core technical crew.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the film’s shoot is being conducted following all the safety protocols. Currently, the team is proceeding with the indoor shoot. Second schedule has been planned in Thodupuzha.
