Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph film Ram slated for Pooja release!

Shoot for Mohanlal’s new film ‘Ram’ with director Jeethu Josepu is currently progressing at a brisk pace. After the ongoing schedule in Kerala, the film will be shot in foreign locations like Egypt, London and Istanbul. Though it was initially reported that the film will be hitting screens during Onam 2020, it is now heard that the makers are planning to release it in October for the Pooja holidays. An official confirmation in this regard is still awaited. The film is being made on a budget of over Rs 25 crore, so it is only ideal that the makers are trying to cash in on the big festival opening.

‘Ram’ is touted to be an action thriller. Mohanlal and Trisha are coming together for the first time with this film. Indrajith Sukumaran, Durga Krishna and Leona Lishoy are also part of the cast. Satheesh Kurup is the DOP and debutant Vishnu Shyam will be handling the music department. VS Vinayak is the editor. Ramesh R Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai are jointly producing the film under the banner of Abhishek Films.
