Universal Star Mohanlal, the biggest star here in Mollywood is all set to stamp his authority in Tollywood as well from next year as he is doing two Telugu films next year. One will start this year December itself which will be directed by national award winner Chandra Shekhar Yeleti and it will have Gauthami as the female lead opposite Mohanlal. It is a bilingual film which will be made in Malayalam as well as per reports. It will be produced by Sai Korapatti who financed films like Eega directed by SS Rajamouli.

But the biggest news is coming that Mohanlal will be doing another Telugu film next year and it will have Mohanlal- Junior NTR team directed by Koratala Siva who had directed many blockbusters there in Telugu. His latest film with Mahesh Babu in the lead named Srimanthudu had won both great critical as well as commercial success.

As per reports Mohanlal- Junior N T R film is an action thriller with 70 crore rupees budget. Mohanlal is roped in to play a powerful character in this film and they approached Mohanlal as they want a powerful and popular actor from South India to do it. According to them Mohanlal is one among the few who is popular in Telugu as well even though he had acted only in one Telugu film till now and that too in a cameo role.

The official announcement of this project will come very soon and the pooja ceremony of the film will happen soon in next month or so. This will be one of the biggest film in Junior NTR’s career as well. His last few films were super successes there and he looks to continue his winning streak with this one as well. He is now busy with his film named Nannaku Prematho by Sukumar.

Mohanlal is busy with his film Puli Murugan now and will have a lot of budget and small budget films coming next year as the directors and financers from all south Indian languages ate lined up to rope him in their films.
