Mohanlal looks fierce in this new still from Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham

Though ‘Marakkar’ release has been postponed, the hype surrounding the film has not yet died down. Some new location stills from the film has just been released online. Mohanlal looks intense and fierce as Marakkar, the warrior. Fans are eagerly waiting to the superstar’s portrayal of Kunjali Marakkar.

‘Marakkar’ is an epic historic film made on a whopping budget of about Rs 100 crore with top artists and technicians from across the country associated with it. Suniel Shetty, Arjun, Keerthy Suresh, Pranav Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ashok Selvan, Prabhu, Mukesh, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Siddique and many others are part of the cast. Several foreign actors are also playing major roles in the film.

National award winning cinematographer Tirru and production designer Sabu Cyril are part of the technical team. Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment are jointly producing this mega budget film. It was originally scheduled to hit screens in March but due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak worldwide, the release had to be postponed.
