Mohanlal and mentalist Aathi to team up for an unique theatre project

Mohanlal’s fascination for magic and fantasy is well known. The veteran actor is so inclined to the magical world that he has even performed magic shows live on stage. He is all set to take another plunge, this time a theatre project in collaboration with famous mentalist Aathi. Last day, Mohanlal wrote in his Facebook page that he will be teaming up with Aathi for a project named ‘In Conversation with Fireflies’. More details regarding the same are expected to be revealed in the coming days.

On similar lines, Mohanlal’s directorial debut that he recently announced is also set in the fantasy world. Titled as ‘Barroz’, the film is based on a mythical story set in the Portuguese backdrop. It is the story of Barroz, a mythical figure who was the gaurdian of Vasco da Gama’s valuable treasures for 400 years. Jijo Punnoose, the visionary filmmaker who made India’s first 3D film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, has penned the story. Pre-production works the movie has already started as it is scheduled to start rolling in October.

Mohanlal meanwhile has a couple of acting commitments pending. He still has a month of shoot left for ‘Ittymaani Made in China’, a comedy entertainer directed by debutants Jibi and Joju. After its completion, Mohnalal will start shooting for ‘Big Brother’, directed by Siddique.
