After Mohanlal, now Nivin Pauly and Dileep came forward supporting Ganesh Kumar

The election campaigns are on full swing and this time many film actors are contesting elections to Legislative assembly from different constituencies of Kerala. Actors like Mukesh, Ganesh Kumar etc contesting as Left Democratic Party candidates and actors like Jagadeesh and Bheeman Raghu contesting the elections representing United Democratic Front and Bharathiya Janata Party respectively.

But yesterday a controversy stirred up after actor Salim Kumar resigned from AMMA, protesting against the support given by some movie artists to Ganesh Kumar who is contesting election from Pathanapuram constituency. Jagadeesh and Bheeman Raghu also contesting from there. Last day, Super Star Mohanlal came to wish good luck to Ganesh Kumar after he has been invited by the candidate to take part in his election campaign. But Salim Kumar said that it was not a right thing to do because 3 members from AMMA contesting there. Now, actors like Dileep and Nivin Pauly also came forward extending their support to Ganesh Kumar.

Innocent, the President of AMMA said that there is no wrong in what Mohanlal had done as he went there as a family friend of Ganesh Kumar. Mohanlal never asked votes for Ganesh Kumar, but he only given his well wishes to his longtime friend and brother like person. Many people had come against Salim Kumar in this issue as they says that Salim Kumar has no right to complain about a citizen’s right to choose his own political ideologies whether he is a film star or not.

Salim Kumar said AMMA had taken a decision earlier that no one from the association will not be participating in any election campaigns, where film stars are contesting. But Dileep says that no such restrictions were implemented by the association as far as he knows and he asked votes for Ganesh Kumar. Nivin Pauly also extended his support to Ganesh Kumar through a video that is now spreading in social media. Anyway, support for Mohanlal is increasing in this issue even though Jagadeesh said that he felt bad after Mohanlal came to wish Ganesh Kumar.
