Mohanlal again owns the iconic number 2255 after Rajavinte Makan

When we look back into Mohanlal’s three decade long, has given us some wonderful movies through his performances to cherish for a long long time. His songs, stunts and dialogues are part and parcel of an average Malayali’s life. It will be not be an exaggeration if we say that Mohanlal has influenced every Malayali of the 80s and 90s in some way or the other.

We must have used some of his dialogues like “Po Mone Dinesha”, “Vattanalle” or “Savarigirigiri” atleast once in our lifetime. One such dialogue is the iconic one from Rajavinte Makan when he writes his phone number in Ancy’s calendar.

Rajavinte Makan was the movie that rose Mohanlal to superstardom. His performance as the dreaded don Vincent Gomez in Rajavinte Makan earned him scores of fans and soon he was crowned as a superstar of the Malayalam film industry.

In this iconic scene from the movie, Vincent Gomez offers some money to advocate Ancy. He also asks her to call him for any help and writes his phone number in the calendar.

The dialogue “my phone number is 2255” is still used by many people teasingly.

Mohanlal again owns the number 2255 but this time as the registration number for his brand new Toyota Land Cruiser. The car is registered in the name of his close associate, Antony Perumbavoor’s name.
