Wow ! Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan touches 125 crore mark

Mohanlal’s last release Pulimurugan is continuing its magical theatrical run slaying all pre existing box office records. The movie has now reached the 125 crore mark.

Mohanlal and director of the movie Vysakh has shared the news through posters. Pulimurugan earlier became the first Malayalam movie to enter the elite 100 crore club.

Written by Udhayakrishna, Pulimurugan deals about a man vs wild theme, where the title character played by Mohanlal is a wild hunter who hunts down man eating tigers.

Mohanlal’s terrific performance in the action sequences choreographed by Peter Hein is one of the major highlights of the movie. Pulimurugan was produced on a large canvas made on a budget of 25 crores. Tomichan Mulakupadam produced this movie under his banner Mulakupadam Films.

The movie was released on October 7th to a massive opening. Upon release, the movie triggered never before seen rush in theatres across all the release centres. It was released overseas in European countries and the Middle East region.

Pulimurugan also minted big bucks from the overseas also. It is among the top 10 highest grossing Indian movies in the UAE region.

It is also being dubbed in Telugu as Manyam Puli. The movie will be releasing on December 2nd.
