Mohanlal sir is my favorite Malayali actor, among youngsters its Dulquer: Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu is unarguably one of the biggest superstars in South Indian cinema. The Telugu actor recently made his entry to Kollywood with Spyder, which got released on September 27. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual has opened to mixed response from the audience but continues to do decent business in the Telugu speaking states.

Recently, the actor attended the popular Tamil chat show Koffee with DD with AR Murugadoss as part of Sypder’s promotions. During the rapid fire round, Mahesh Babu was asked about his favourite Malayali actor. Even before the host could give the options, Mahesh instantly replied Mohanlal’s name. When asked about his favourite among the younger generation of actors he replied Dulquer’s name.

Mohanlal and Dulquer are arguably the most popular Malayali actors outside the state. So it is no wonder that Mahesh chose them as his favorites. Mohanlal’s body of work speaks volumes about the kind of star he is but Dulquer’s growth is something phenomenal. In such a brief career, he has made a mark for himself in the industry by being part of some quality films. This year he is foraying into Hindi and Telugu film industries as well.
