Mohanlal–Sreekumar Menon combo again after Odiyan!

Odiyan, starring the Complete Actor Mohanlal, released in December 2018 that reached the biggest hype ever seen in Malayalam cinema was directed by shrikumar menon. However, the film did not live up to expectations and the director Shrikumar Menon was attacked on social media. But despite the negative reports Odian still holds the record for the largest first day collection Malayalam film.

Shrikumar Menon is all set to make a comeback after facing huge criticism anyway, with a Hindi film titled Mission Konkan. It is rumored that Mohanlal will be making a guest appearance in the film, which will star Bollywood stars. According to reports, Mohanlal will play a Khalasi character in the film which will last for half an hour.

The film also stars Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and will be produced in Malayalam and other languages. The film is written by TD Ramakrishnan, who was famous for his novels like Francis Ittikora, Andal Devanayaki Sugandhi and Mama Africa and was the Chief Comptroller of Railways.

The film is expected to be produced by Fox Star Studios.
