Mohanlal to Star as a Cop in Austin Dan’s Comedy Thriller tentatively Titled L365

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has officially signed his next film, which will be produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions. Titled L365 (working title), the film marks the directorial debut of Dan Austin and is penned by ‘Ishq, Alappuzha Gymkhana’ fame writer Ratheesh Ravi. The movie is touted to be a comedy thriller with Mohanlal playing the role of a police officer. With Ashiq Usman’s track record of producing successful and content-driven films, expectations are high for this new collaboration.

Mohanlal, who is currently shooting for Mahesh Narayanan’s big-budget multi-starrer, is also gearing up for several cameo appearances. He is set to join the sets of Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, for a 20-day shoot where he plays an extended cameo. The actor will also make special appearances in Dileep’s upcoming film Bha Bha Ba and Jude Anthany Joseph’s Thudakkam, which stars his daughter Vismaya Mohanlal in the lead role.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is slated to go on floors in October. Mohanlal’s next theatrical release will be Hridayapoorvam, directed by veteran Sathyan Anthikad, which is scheduled to hit screens on August 28. With a packed lineup of exciting projects, Mohanlal continues to diversify his roles and strengthen his legacy across genres and generations.
