Mohanlal’s Barroz Aiming for a Christmas Release

Mohanlal, the Complete Actor of Indian Cinema, is all set for the release of his debut directorial venture, Barroz, the Guardian of Gama’s Treasure. According to the latest reports, Mohanlal himself revealed that this big-budget 3D fantasy movie will be ready for release this December.

In a recent interview with Manorama, he stated that the major portion of the film’s rerecording works has been completed in Los Angeles, USA, while the post-production is currently underway in Budapest, Hungary. Additionally, the visual effects are being worked on simultaneously in India and Thailand.

Barroz has been crafted as a children’s film with the story written by Jijo Punnoose. The movie is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, with Santhosh Sivan as the cinematographer. Mohanlal himself plays the title character, and the movie also features several foreign language actors. It will be released in multiple languages as well.

If all goes as planned, the much-awaited Barroz will grace screens worldwide this Christmas season, and we will witness the magic created by the legendary Mohanlal on screen.
